Cornerstone Café

Cornerstone Café is a safe place to meet friends and family for some homemade food and speciality coffee and teas.

The Café is a welcoming area accommodating around 20 people, making it an ideal and spacious place to relax and meet friends, family and colleagues.

There is additional informal seating leading to an outdoor terrace. The two Avenue rooms can open into the Avenue to create a larger space for private functions. There is an unstaffed pre-school play area at the other end of the Avenue from Cornerstone Café. Toddlers are welcome to use this area while accompanying adults enjoy refreshments.

We pride ourselves on our delicious handmade cakes and treats as well as our soups and savouries. We offer a variety of speciality coffees as well as a vast selection of Shibui teas. All our Matthew Algie coffee is Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance approved and Organic.

Opening Hours: Monday - Friday 1000-1600

The Friends’ and Neighbours’ Group arranged to use the Dumfries Baptist Church Centre thanks to the facilities on offer. The assistance the DBCC gave us was excellent, and we were delighted with the room allocated to us: it was very well set out and equipped. All of our refreshment needs were met – and the charges are so reasonable. The members of our Group are all delighted and hope that anyone wishing a morning out will come and join us at the DBCC on the second Thursday of the month.
